What You Will Do

As a Vendor Management  Specialists (VMS) you are responsible for promptly assigning and reassigning assets as required for new inflow and requested by the operations department. The VRS assigns from a database of agents, Preservation & Maintenance vendors, Closing and Title attorneys, General contractors and Appraisers. All vendors are reviewed and approved by the Vendor Review Committee's monthly review meetings. As needs are identified by the Vendor Manager and/or the VR Committee, you will search for potential vendor candidates and reach out to determine interest in working with GRC.  If interested, you will send for approval to the Vendor Manager. You will create new vendor profiles in multiple systems. You will also verify the appropriate documents are in compliance at all times. Additionally, you develop and maintain a strong working relationship with the vendor network by assisting and trouble shooting system navigation, login challenges, etc.  You will also assist with order related or asset volume related questions.

Additional responsibilities for you will include:

  • Daily new boarding assignments and reassignments
  • Updating various weekly reports (unassigned and recruiting reports, etc)
  • Completing tasking (assignment of agent, order updated BPO, etc) in various Systems of Record (Equator, Res.Net, etc.), as required by clients.
  • Recruiting new agents when/where needed as directed by AR Manager; this includes sending new agent invitations, assisting agents in completion of applications, and reviewing and verifying new application are complete.
  • Monitoring and tracking agent HOLDs as approved by AR Manager, including communication with agents
  • Update Pyramid Platform and HSC as directed by AR Manager with any client preferred/DNU agents
  • Working with agents needing assistance on various matters; address emails and inquiries from agents
  • Answering the hotline and assist agents with various issues (login issues, technical issues, etc.)

Who We Are Looking For

  • You will have 6 month to 1 year REO experience and some Default Mortgage Servicing experience preferred.  Knowledge of client-based systems a plus (Pyramid, HSC, Equator, Res.Net, etc.). You will also have a high school diploma/GED.
  • You must also have:
  • Must have excellent communication skills – verbal, written and interpersonal.
  • Must have excellent Customer Service skills.
  • Proficiency in Internet Explorer, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • A self-starter with effective time management skills.
  • Ability to problem solve and make appropriate business decisions.
  • Highly organized with the ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and data management skills with attention to detail.
  • High ethical standards.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Motivated, positive team player.                                                                                                                                                                                                            
  • Act as liaison between the agents, staff, clients, etc. to resolve issues that arise.
  • Identify vendor scorecard issues as they are reviewed each month. Escalate vendor performance concerns to VR Manager.
