We help promote and preserve the tradition of homeownership while protecting lenders from default-related losses on residential first mortgages. We also facilitate the sale of low-down payment mortgages in the secondary market.

The Senior Relationship Manager, Banking is the primary client relationship manager for the largest lenders within the banking segment . Your role is responsible for developing/strengthening relationships with company executives and identify new business opportunities across Radian Group business units including Mortgage Insurance, Title, Appraisal, Valuation, Loan Review and Asset Management.  You will lead teams presenting business unit products, ensure transactions move through the life cycle, and ensures client satisfaction with process and product.  Candidates should be located near a major metro airport including New York, Washington DC, Atlanta, Tampa, Chicago, Denver, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle; this role travels 75%.

Your specific job responsibilities include:

1.) Develop and strengthen relationships with executives at assigned clients- prospects and current customers

2.) Identify new business opportunities with clients, set meetings with client executves and Radian SME

3.) Ensure transactions move forward to either declination by client or closing

4.) Ensure clients satisfaction with process and products

5) Coordinate relationship meetings and client events with client executives and Radian executives

Background Requirements

• 15+ years of sales experience in real estate, mortgage banking or financial services industries.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in business, finance, accounting or economics.
• Successful track record managing and growing large accounts(has a successful track record of managing and growing a book of business in the $20-40MM revenue range annually).
• Experience in enterprise sales in organizations with multiple product offerings and business lines.
• Proven track record of accessing, selling to and working senior decision makers in target organizations.
• Has 15+ years of deep rooted business relationships with key players in the industry.
• Strongly prefer candidates with prior senior level operational experience.  Must have proven relationships with senior level stakeholders in the industry.

Bachelors Degree required; Masters preferred

Required Skills

• Superior sales skills including consultative sales expertise.
• Solid problem solving and solution scoping abilities.
• Experience with CRM and opportunity management systems, preferably Salesforce.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent presentation abilities.
• Very effective negotiation and closing techniques.
• Must be adaptable and be able to consistently deal with ever-changing conditions.
• Must conduct self in a professional manner at all times.
• Strong analysis and judgment skills.
• Works well in a team environment.
