Headquartered in Philadelphia, Radian connects lenders, homebuyers, investors and loan servicers using a suite of private mortgage insurance and related risk management products and services. We help promote and preserve the tradition of homeownership while protecting lenders from default-related losses on residential first mortgages. We also facilitate the sale of low-down payment mortgages in the secondary market.

The Human Resources Analyst will be responsible for the governance of all employee data. This requires the incumbent to be familiar with Radains business processes and perform data audits to resolve issues related to employee information. They will be responsible to execute system reporting and respond to requests for ad-hoc information both internally and from the business.

This position will be responsible for entering and maintinanng information into the HR/Payroll system. Assists in reviewing department policies and procedures to ensure adherence to recognized best practices, and to deliver maximum value to both HR an business stakeholders.

Focus will be on data integrity and on identifying and resolving errors in both data entry and in data preparation. Will work with external vendors to ensure systems integrations are running to specifications and adhering to established security policies and procedures.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Knowledge and familiarity with HR Business Processes

  • Works with HR Operations management to identify and resolve process bottlenecks and inefficiencies
  • Educates HR/Payroll Partners on business processand transaction processing
  • Responsible for escalating process and system failures, and the accompanying data irregularities, to facilitate timely resolution of the issue

Reporting - Integrations

  • Execute both scheduled and ad-hoc reporting in a timely fashion, with a focus on data integrity and leveraging native data transformation functionality whenever possible
  • Work with HR and Business partners to understand reporting needs as they evolve, and clearly communicate those needs to the HR Systems team for research and development.
  • Works with external vendors to diagnose and resolve issues related to Workday integrations systems

Data entry and maintenance

  • Responsible for the proper entry/processing of HR transactions (including onboarding, new hires,   terminations, job and personal data changes, organizational changes, etc.)
  • Administer routine HR processes in compliance with all business specifications, company policies, and statutory requirements.
  • Demonstrates emphasis on maintaining and preserving the integrity of all systems data by participating in audits, data validation, and ensuring client reporting is accurate and to specification.

Cross-functional partner

  • Acts as liaison between HR Operations and HR/Payroll Partners to identify and resolve employee issues
  • Assists all areas within HR, including but not limited to recruiting, orientation, communications, - benefits, and payroll.
  • Assists with the updating and maintenance of HR systems to conform to compliance and process changes; trains and communicates with users when changes are made.

HRIS (Workday) Upgrade Support:  test, research, and assist with defining  HR Business Processes for upgrade to Workday HRIS. 

Responds to inquiries regarding policies, procedures, and programs.

Job Specifications:


  • Minimum of 5 + years of work experience in HR Shared Services model/HR Operations or related HR functional experience.  Broad understanding of HR/Payroll processing.
  • Prior experience with Workday HRIS is preferred; familiarity with other Cloud based HRIS is a plus (UltiPro, SAP, Success Factors, PeopleSoft, ADP, etc.
  • Extensive internal customer service/support experience
  • Project management, planning, scheduling, and resource management experience a plus                                                                              

Skills and Abilities:

  • Exceptional problem solving skills, resourcefulness, and ability to make decisions in a dynamic environment
  • Proven skill at handling stressful issues and interfacing with a variety of people and situations in a courteous, professional manner. 
  • Moderate to Advanced proficiency with MS Excel and Word.  Moderate proficiency with PowerPoint is a plus
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and Learning Management Systems is a plus.
  • Experience with Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting, and Payroll is a plus.
  • Ability to multi-task/work effectively in teams.

Prior Work Experience and Education:   

  • 5 - 8 years of related work experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
