Job Description

Responsible for underwriting, due diligence, portfolio analysis, and compliance review projects.

This is long term contract position. Medical and Dental plan options are available as well as a 401k match.

Primary Duties and responsibilities:

1.) Actively supports the knowledge of colleagues by sharing information about the department, business unit, organization and the underwriting industry.

2.) Identifies potential problems within the underwriting administrative process and makes recommendations for changes to enhance the system.

3.) Manage workflow for multiple projects.

4.) Capturing data regarding loan transaction required to deliver within client reports.

5.) Analyzing and capturing Hud Fees for state and federal testing

6.) Evaluating the disclosure process including but not limited to the delivery, timing, required verbiage, execution and completeness of all State and Federal documentation.

7.) Gathering information for testing purposes for the Truth in Lending Disclosure, Right of Rescission, Change of Circumstance, Good Faith Estimates, Note, Mortgage, and 1003.

8.) Applies all client/lender policies and procedures, in addition to Federal, State, and/or municipal laws and regulations.

Knowledge:

  • 3+ years in residential underwriting, knowledge and familiarity with current mortgage and compliance laws and regulations
  • Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, eCLAS
