Responsible for underwriting, due diligence, portfolio analysis, and compliance review projects.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Actively supports the knowledge of colleagues by sharing information about the department, business unit, organization and the underwriting industry.
  • Identifies potential problems within the underwriting administrative process and makes recommendations for changes to enhance the system.
  • Manage workflow for multiple projects.
  • Capturing data regarding loan transaction required to deliver within client reports.
  • Analyzing and capturing Hud Fees for state and federal testing
  • Evaluating the disclosure process including but not limited to the delivery, timing, required verbiage, execution and completeness of all State and Federal documentation.
  • Gathering information for testing purposes for the Truth in Lending Disclosure, Right of Rescission, Change of Circumstance, Good Faith Estimates, Note, Mortgage, and 1003.
  • Applies all client/lender policies and procedures, in addition to Federal, State, and/or municipal laws and regulations.



Job Specifications

Knowledge

  • 3+ years in residential underwriting, knowledge and familiarity with current mortgage and compliance laws and regulations Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, eCLAS

Education and Credentials

  • Required:    Associate/Technical Degree
  • Preferred:    Bachelor’s Degree
