Job Description

Responsible for supporting the sales effort and potential client engagements, including serving as a subject matter expert for Clayton's products and processes, participating in and/or facilitating client calls and demos, and supporting the contracting process. Responsible for facilitating, managing and executing all business transactions with clients, ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction, and delivering favorable and timely financial results. Initial focus on Surveillance product offerings, with the expectation for expansion into other Clayton offerings as appropriate. Specific responsibilities include: sales support; scoping, planning, and ensuring execution of each deal from initial call to collection of invoice, including transitioning execution to the appropriate business unit as needed; support of ongoing client-centric contact and communication; and identifying and cultivating future business opportunities

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:


1.) Cultivate, scope and ensure execution of all transactions with clients.  This would include formulating an engagement scope, drafting client proposals and contracts, and participating on client calls as needed.

2.) Ensure highest level of client satisfaction by thoroughly assessing clients’ needs/expectations, maintaining and/or facilitating ongoing communication with the client, ensuring all deliverables will be provided in a prompt, timely, and professional manner, and managing and/or helping to manage client expectations if there is a delay in delivery.

3.) Deliver satisfactory financial results for the account, including revenue growth and timely collection of invoices.

4.) Facilitate future business opportunities for additional Clayton services.  

5.)Ensure client expectations, scope, and other relevant details are communicated to the appropriate operational teams as needed.

6.)Ensure information provided to the client, from engagement scope and pricing through method of delivery of work product, is clear and accurate in all material respects.


Knowledge:

  • 7+ years in the mortgage industry
  • Understanding of mortgage servicing for multiple loan products, including but not limited to GSE/agency collateral, FHA and other government products, forward and reverse loans, fixed rate and ARM loans
  • Understanding of Clayton’s systems and processes, including transaction management, servicer and sub-servicer oversight and other loan-level reviews conducted through Appian and eClas

Skills and Abilities:


  • Mortgage underwriting and/or servicing experience;
  •  Knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance rules and regulations;
  • Ability to learn and explain how regulatory updates impact Clayton’s product offerings;
  • Commitment to professional and personal excellence/achievement;
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills;
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with a broad and diverse group of individuals;
