Job Description

You will be working with Asset Managers, Sales Managers, Eviction Coordinators, Closing, the Taxes / HOA department, and the Accounting department. You are responsible for ensuring that the team correctly approves or denies broker expense submissions, in accordance with client guidelines and requirements. You will have to be able to communicate (oral and written) with each role listed above to solve problem situations. You will be required to multi task and prioritize work so that time sensitive work is finished within client guidelines. This position will require you to have customer service phone skills. Work is conducted in a team environment and assisting team members will be required.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Establish policies and guidelines for the BC team and for the Brokers submitting expenses for reimbursement.
  • Perform training sessions for agents/brokers on proper submission of expenses that will enable reimbursement.
  • Minimize write offs due to process issues or timing mistakes
  • Process large numbers of expense reimbursement requests


Job Specifications

Knowledge:

  • Three to seven years of relevant experience preferably in the Mortgage industry. Bachelor’s degree preferred.​ Proficient in Microsoft Suite – particularly Excel.​ Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.​ Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.​


Skills and Abilities:

  • Able to prioritize work. Good oral and written communication skills. Ability to problem solve. Ability to work well on your own as well as being a team player. Ability to focus and multi-task. Answering phones and answering e-mails. Able to work set hours (strict start times and end times). Ability to lead and motivate a large team of relatively new people to the work force. Be able to adapt to constant change. Excellent memory skills. Ability to learn and maneuver through different types of software and web-based systems. Proficiency in Outlook, Excel, and Word.  (MS Access abilities a big plus). High ethical standards and personal qualities. Motivated, positive, team player. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills. Ability to problem solve in a growing, expanding business. Excellent interpersonal skills and listening skills

  • Technical:   5 - 8 years
  • Supervisory:   None


Education and Credentials

  • Required:    HS Diploma/GED
  • Preferred:    HS Diploma/GED
