Job Description

The Billing/AR Coordinator will work independently and is responsible for the coordination of the client billing process as other tasks as assigned by the Billing Manager. The Billing/AR Coordinator will communicate directly with operations and clients on various aspects of client billing. Areas of responsibility will include creating/revising bill/time entry narratives, coordinating client billing cycles and auditing client invoices, processing cash, wire and check receipts from clients to open invoices, booking entries in multiple accounting systems including Great Plains, Navision and Solomon.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Proactively gather all information for processing invoices accurately and timely; ensure that the correct number of billing hours is included on the client invoice (Troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies with operations and management)
  • Process invoice receipt payments timely and accurately; audit for errors and make changes and issue credits as necessary
  • Create journal entires into accounting systems as needed
  • Process updates and changes to invoices as requested and verified by operations or clients as necessary
  • Escalate issues as needed to Management and other tasks as assigned

Job Specifications


  • Prior time and material billing experience.
  • Computer literate. (Intermediate MS Excel)
  • Knowledge of billing or ERP software.
