Job Description

This position manages a portfolio of REO assets on a continual basis ensuring that all assets are flowing through the marketing and disposition process in a timely manner. This position reports to a Sales Manager.

Primary Duties

1.) Evaluate BPOs and Appraisals to determine the best marketing strategy for the individual asset and create a market plan per client guidelines. 

2.) If a “repaired” strategy is determined, work with the repair analyst to acquire accurate, competitive and timely bids from approved licensed and insured vendors.

3.) Responsible for ordering services and ensuring timely receipt/conclusion.

4.) Negotiate offers per client directives.

5.) Manage agents and assets daily by relooking at strategies and values until an offer is accepted.

6.) Work with title/escrow offices and attorneys as well as the internal closing team to perpetuate a timely, seamless closing of the sale.

7.) Manage timelines/exceptions and tasking and ensure individual and team goals and expectations are met.


Knowledge:                                         

Requires minimum of 2 years experience in REO/Real Estate.
2 years default mortgage servicing experience preferred.
Valuation and contractor experience a plus.
Real Estate background in REO, Valuations, Loss Mitigation, Foreclosure, and Bankruptcy a plus.

High School Diploma required

Skills and Abilities:

Ability to effectively communicate with Realtors, Contractors, Clients, and other Mortgage Professionals.

Manage positive outcomes for all parties.

Ability to learn and maneuver through different types of software such as Outlook, Excel and Word. 

MS Access proficiency a plus.

Self-motivated and positive team player. Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills. Excellent organization and prioritization skills.

Ability to problem solve and multi task in a fast paced environment. Responsible for documentation of pertinent facts and expense approvals.

Communicate effectively and professionally with clients, agents, vendors, etc.
