Job Description

Appraisal Operations Representative is responsible for overall processing of the appraisal orders ensuring that orders are processed and completed in a timely manner. This individual must have working knowledge of all aspects of appraisal operations and appraisal vendor management.

Appraisal Operations Representative is responsible for overall processing of the appraisal orders ensuring that orders are processed and completed in a timely manner. This individual must have working knowledge of all aspects of appraisal operations and appraisal vendor management.


Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

1.) Assign vendors to all orders that do not have an appraiser assigned.  Refer to client requirements, availability, turn time, quality and pricing  when selecting vendor.   Work with vendor recruiter for assistance if needed.

2) Review assigned WIP (Work in Progress) to determine status of orders.  Follow up via telephone or email to obtain order status.

3.) Update status of the order in ValuNet and all appropriate platforms according to client requirements.  Inform manager of potential delinquent orders and appraisers not adhering to service levels.

4.) Review and resolve all client inquiries on a daily basis.  

5) Assist with team tasks including monitoring of appraisal box, uploading reports to appropriate platforms and communicate that report has been received; follow up calls on delinquent orders and calls to obtain payments.

6)  Assist team members as needed to ensure positive work flow for the team. 

7.) Communicate with manager the status of WIP orders and any potential issues. 

8.)Perform all duties as assigned.


Knowledge:

College degree with industry experience is preferred.  Minimum requirements of a high school diploma.  General understanding of the appraisal industry with basic knowledge of product types; understanding communication with appraiser and client essential; general knowledge of FIRREA, USPAP, Dodd-Frank and Agency guidelines.


Skills & Abilities:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel and Word); Knowledge of client-based systems; Attention to detail; Motivated and positive team player; Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal skills; Ability to problem solve and multi-task in a fast paced environment.
