Radian Guaranty, Inc. in Philadelphia, PA seeks Sr. Guidewire Integration Developer to design, develop, and implement integration processes with Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter and corresponding enterprise applications and platforms.

  • Develop high level technical solutions to business issues with respect to requirements, including integration with Customer Portal, Salesforce, enterprise service bus, B2B, and data warehousing. Implement Guidewire integration with various data services and external web services to support and develop new features and enhancements in PolicyCenter.
  • Implement new User Interface pages, business rules, calculations and data, workflow and activities. Design application to application messaging and payloads.
  • Produce work effort estimates for Guidewire projects and initiatives across roles, including business analysts, configuration developers, integration developers, and manual and automation quality assurance analysts for projects, new features, and enhancements.
  • Plan and track features, stories, and defects in Rally. Collaborate with technical teams.
  • Guide and mentor junior developers, and assist in developing best practices.
  • Design solutions to present to business and technical stakeholders.
  • Develop logical and physical data models for use in Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter.
  • Assess, troubleshoot, and optimize run time performance of Guidewire databases using Splunk dashboards and queries.
  • Execute data fixes using Guidewire Data Change API.
  • Establish code and branch management best practices.
  • Coordinate and review additions to Guidewire codebase by development team.
  • Build Splunk alerts to inform the Operations Team of production errors or degraded performance.
  • Design builds, unit tests, code scans, and deployment automation for Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter deployments using Jenkins and Chef.
  • Review and test automation implementations.
  • Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a closely related field and 5 years of commercial software development experience in Java/J2EE, including 3 years of experience: (i) developing solutions with Guidewire PolicyCenter and BillingCenter; (ii) integrating Guidewire with enterprise applications and platforms; (iii) troubleshooting production issues and optimizing run time performance of Guidewire using log analysis tools; (iv) developing work estimates for projects, new features and enhancements; (v) tracking features, stories and defects in Rally; (vi) leading design of solutions and presenting to both business and technical stakeholders; (vii) guiding and mentoring junior developers; (viii) collaborating with technical teams; and (ix) setting standards and developing best practices.

SALARY:                                  $119,662 to $155,520
