Job Description

The Pre-Review Specialist will complete multiple tasks within the pre-review process, including but not limited to: the review of mortgage documents, identifying pertinent data and then inputting that information into the workflow system accurately; utilizing Adobe Acrobat to modify, bookmark, unlock and move PDF files to the appropriate folder location; hard and soft copy document extractions; redactions; retrieval of files from client portals, tracking and moving files to operations drives.

***This is a long term contract position***

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Entering client and loan data from source documents to proprietary system, while maintaining production and quality expectations.
  • Compiling, verifying accuracy and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry
  • Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output
  • Review all pre-existing PDF bookmarks for accuracy to ensure documents are properly identified within the Company standards, as well as deleting or adding bookmarks where needed
  • Move files to the appropriate locations within the Company’s network
  • Navigation of client portal sites to obtain the required files and uploading them into internal file paths.


Job Specifications

Knowledge:

  • Industry experience preferred
  • 1+ years preferred conducting data input
  • Experience with Adobe PDF and Microsoft Office Suite
  • High school diploma required; additional computer training or certification preferred

Education and Credentials

  • Required:    HS Diploma/GED
  • Preferred:    Bachelor’s Degree
