Job Description

The Mortgage Fulfillment Lead will be responsible for the daily assignment of work and pipeline oversight of up to 10 mortgage loan processors and up to 10 mortgage closers. In this role, a successful candidate will demonstrate their knowledge of mortgages through answering questions and resolving problems for the team. In addition, they will act as the point of contact with an external client on prioritizing the pipeline and escalating issues.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Oversee the pipelines and workflow for a team of up to 10 mortgage loan processors and up to 10 mortgage closers to meet the expected quality and service levels determined by the client.
  • Effectively communicate and report on daily and monthly goals while working closely with the client on pipeline prioritization.
  • Conduct reviews of loan files for completeness and adherence to guidelines.
  • Assist with the processing of mortgage applications to client standards while ensuring that all interested parties are kept current as to the status of each loan.


Job Specifications

Knowledge:

  • The Mortgage Fulfillment Lead will need to possess the knowledge and understanding of conforming loan programs and agency guidelines, knowledge of regulatory and compliance guidelines as well as a working knowledge of MS Office. A full understanding of  how to run an AUS (LP or DU) and knowledge of Federal mortgage compliance origination regulations is required. A familiarity with Encompass is a plus.


Skills and Abilities:

  • The successful candidate for this position will be able to work and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment with multiple competing priorities. They must be highly organized with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. Detail oriented and technologically savvy with a comfort in learning new computer systems and software will be a must. Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to calculate income from W-2s or Tax Returns; Great customer service skills; ability to work paperless if required.


Prior Work Experience

  • Technical:   5 - 8 years
  • Supervisory:   1 - 3 years


Education and Credentials

  • Required:    HS Diploma/GED,  Concentration in n/a
  • Preferred:    Bachelor’s Degree,  Concentration in Any
