Job Description

As the Business Compliance Director you will be responsible for leading and managing Radian's responses to selected clients' due diligence requests, as well as planning and facilitating webex meetings and virtual or onsite due diligence assessments. This includes coordinating with internal subject matter experts to gather the requested information, drafting accurate and well written responses, communicating to the clients in a timely and professional manner, among other tasks. You will also work with Legal, Sales, Client Advocacy and internal subject matter experts to facilitate reviews of complex client agreements and ensure internal awareness of Radian's contractual obligations.

What you will do:

  • Lead and manage the effort to respond to assigned due diligence requests from clients or their third party risk management representatives. 
  • Coordinate with Information Security, IT, Legal, HR, Procurement & Vendor Management, Sales and other departments to obtain information to provide accurate and timely responses to clients' requests (e.g. questionnaires, assessments, requests for policies and procedures, etc).
  • Work with others to track and remediate due diligence findings.
  • Plan, coordinate, and facilitate conference calls, webex meetings or virtual/onsite due diligence assessments with clients or their third party risk management representatives. 
  • Partner with Radian's internal functions to ensure that NDAs are in place, that subject matter experts are prepared for the discussions and that all necessary documentation is available for the discussion. 
  • Administer client contracting process for complex client  agreements in coordination with Legal to ensure that internal functional areas affected by the contractual obligations are aware of and have the ability to comment on them prior to contract execution (includes logging contract requests, tracking progress, facilitating the review of the agreements by subject matter experts, etc.)
  • Serve as Business Compliance subject matter expert relating to IT and Information Security, working closely with those internal functions and having an understanding of Radian systems, applications, etc.
  • Assist the Business Compliance team with various tasks, including the identification and implementation of process improvements and intake/inventory trend analysis and reporting.

Who we are looking for:

  • You have a Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration or related field.
  • You have at least eight (8) years of relevant work experience, such as business compliance, operational management, information technology, information security, audit and/or third party risk management.
  • You have a strong understanding of general computer controls, IT security, web security, network security, application security and privacy controls, preferably in an insurance or financial services environment.
  • Ideally, you will have familiarity with Radian's businesses, policies/procedures, products and/or clients.
